Infrastructure Senior Analyst (I) <p>Information Technology Services (ITS) Applicants will be considered in the following order: <p>1) Qualified permanent ESS/OSSTF Bargaining Unit employees <p>2) Qualified probationary, temporary and Temporary Hourly Rated (THR) ESS/OSSTF employees <p>3) Qualified external applicants (includes employees from other Bargaining Units) <p>Reporting to the Supervisor of IT Infrastructure, the successful candidate will be responsible to plan, implement and maintain core IT infrastructure systems into which all other systems connect. This individual will work with other teams to help them achieve their needs in a responsible and systematic way that ensures consistency and effective data integration and security across all systems. This position will focus on Active Directory and Cloud. <p>The successful applicant for this Educational Support Staff position, Level I ($80,704 - $93,241), will be working 35 hours per week, 12 months per year, effective as soon as possible. Flexibility is required as hours of work may vary according to workload or assignment, and overtime may be necessary. The successful candidate may be required to drive his or her own vehicle as well as Board rented vehicles. Responsibilities Design, implement and maintain a vision and 3 year plan related to WRDSB integrated IT systems as a component of the larger IT Service planning cycle <p> Core IT infrastructure systems include accounts, devices, networks, firewalls, security, servers, storage, web, telephony, system <p> management and cloud computing <p> Oversight of the life cycle and maintenance of IT Infrastructure including availability, performance and security in accordance with agreed upon service level agreements <p> Proactively leads multiple complex technical projects for the <p> optimization and continuous improvements of core IT infrastructure systems and services <p> Plan, coordinate, manage and implement enterprise level changes to the primary directories in collaboration with other technical groups (eg. Active Directory, Google Admin Panel), that include schema <p> administration and modifications <p> Research, design, implement and maintain key infrastructure systems such as GPOs, DNS, DHCP and Azure Cloud including automation, monitoring connections and synchronization to each <p> Development and maintenance of automation and synchronization processes to efficiently and seamlessly integrate core IT systems Research, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that impact critical systems and operations throughout all schools and departments Collaborate with relevant IT staff and/or 3rd party vendors in the design, execution and operation of core IT systems <p> Assist in the development of IT policy, procedure and process documentation <p> Stay abreast of emerging IT and network technologies, vulnerabilities and threats <p> Performing change management duties as required, including creation, execution and validation of production changes <p> Contribute to and maintain standards in accordance with agreed upon service level agreements (SLAs) <p> Demonstrated leadership and effectiveness as a team leader, managing processes and projects, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision <p> Build and maintain strong lines of collaboration between IT service groups, schools, departments, stakeholders and vendors to ensure coordination of inform decision-making, planning, issue management and support <p> Mentor and coach IT staff in support of collaborative service <p> management practices including problem solving, user support and communication <p> Other duties as assigned by the Information Technology Management team Qualifications University degr
