Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Warehouse. Tasks: Clean work area. Check manufactured items for defects and conformance to specifications. Load, feed or place materials into machine. Operate machine to fabricate parts and products. Sand, trim, grind or clean products into final form using hand tools. Screw, clip, glue, bond, weld or otherwise assemble parts and components to form final products. Cut, shape and fit materials to form parts and components. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Welding experience. Supervision: Structural metal and platework fabricators and fitters. Type of materials: Fibreglass. Wood. Instrument experience: Precision measuring instrument. Equipment and machinery experience: Cutting machine. Hand tools. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Fast-paced environment. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Tools. Safety equipment/gear. Safety glasses/goggles.
