Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: All weather conditions. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Assist in demolishing buildings. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Operate power vibrators to compact concrete. Assist equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment or truck. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Personal suitability: Team player. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Health benefits: Dental plan. Disability benefits.
