Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Home care and visiting care agency. Tasks: Provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care. Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work. Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination. CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Area of specialization: Geriatrics. Palliative care. Rehabilitation. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
