Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Develop policies. Supervise professional and support staff and students. Perform administrative tasks. Plan development projects. Recruit and hire staff. Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities. Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products. Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts or articles. Conduct analytical marketing studies. Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals. Develop portfolio of marketing materials. Develop feasibility studies. Prepare funding applications. Provide consultation on planning and starting of new businesses.. Ensure appropriate business/commercial licenses are in place. Develop and implement business plans.
