Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work site environment: Dusty. Noisy. Outdoors. Tasks: Estimate costs and materials. Prepare production and other reports. Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Establish methods to meet work schedules. Read blueprints and drawings. Requisition materials and supplies. Supervise workers and projects. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for persons with disabilities: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities. Support for newcomers and refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers . Support for mature workers: Provides workspace accommodations, such as age-appropriate ergonomic considerations, to meet the physical needs of mature workers (for example: adjustable desks and chairs, accessible parking, etc.) .
