Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Wet/damp. Hot. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Budding trees. Clean the crops. Cut horticultural crops. Greenhouse cleaning. Mixing fertilizer. Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts. Seed cutting. Tie and secure plants. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Weeding. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Mix and prepare soils. Pot and re-pot plants. Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings. Report signs of insect or disease damage. Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean work area. Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Type of product: Coniferous trees. Deciduous trees. Native plants. Perennials. Berry bushes. Fruit trees.
