Job details
Education: College/CEGEP. Work setting: Pharmacy or drugstore. Tasks: Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate. Enter client information in databases. Prepare medications for clients. Help with scheduling and workflow. Bill third party insurers. Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams. Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products. Interpret physician's specification. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Maintain medication profiles of customers including registry of poisons and narcotic and controlled drugs. Order and maintain stock of pharmaceutical supplies. Maintain prescription records . Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Standing for extended periods. Ability to distinguish between colours. Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus. Dependability. Excellent oral communication. Organized.
