Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments. Arrange for maintenance and repair work. Ensure proper functioning of equipment. Maintain work records and logs. Organize warehouse and work areas. Perform general office duties. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Co-ordinate traffic flow of supplies. Provide customer service. Train workers in duties and policies. Arrange training for staff. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems. Assist with maintenance of communications equipment. Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders. Follow-up on issues with work orders. Keep track of shipments. Maintain vehicle operator work records. Process and transmit information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment. Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Supervision: 5-10 people. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
