Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Assist health care professionals. Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine. Set up and dismantle equipment. Clean and maintain equipment. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Plan physiotherapy programs. Remove casts, sutures and pins. Confer with other health professionals. Area of specialization: Physiotherapy. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Punctuality. Client focus. Organized. Team player. Experience: Experience an asset.- LocationBrampton, ON
