Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Assist health care professionals. Assist physicians in the assessment of patients. Develop information materials for patients. Follow through on treatment programs with patients. Maintain prescription records . Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine. Apply and adjust casts, splints and bandages. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation. Document patient rehabilitation progress. Perform general clerical duties. Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Organized. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
