RESPONSIBILITIES are different for each guide position, but may include. * Checking all equipment before departure * Leading or assisting to lead clients on kayak & paddleboard Excursions. * Instruct renters with our safety chat & instructions and issue 1 day boaters license * Fitting clients with the proper gear * Giving guests instructions on how to paddle and where to go on Kayaks and paddleboards. * Aiding clients with departures and landings * Fueling machines REQUIREMENTS * First Aid cert. * Paddle Canada Certifications (If you don't have them we can direct you to organizations that offer them). Other titles for this role: instructor, leader, captain, tour guide, water sports, aquatic instructor, life guard, boat, seadoo, kayak, paddle board, sup, outdoor job, outdoor adventure. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal Contract length: 5 months Pay: $17.40-$19.40 per hour Expected hours: 20 ? 40 per week Benefits: * Flexible schedule Flexible Language Requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 12 hour shift * 8 hour shift Supplemental Pay: * Bonus pay * Tips Ability to commute/relocate: * Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Location: * Vancouver, BC (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-07-15- LocationVancouver, BC
