Address customers' complaints or concerns. Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques. Professionalism in customer service. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. Drive lighter, special purpose trucks. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Pay and receive payments for goods. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Documentation knowledge: Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Transportation/travel experience: Local. National. Provincial/territorial. Regional. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Travel expenses paid by employer. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Large workload. Overtime required. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Sitting.
