Job details
Education: College/CEGEP. Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer. Tasks: Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations. Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials. Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials. Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication. Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives. Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers. Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements. Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) . Support for Indigenous people: Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations . Supports for visible minorities: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities (for example: anonymizing the hiring process, etc.).- LocationVancouver, BC
