Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and maintenance, possess strong mechanical knowledge, and excel in providing exceptional customer service. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing various automotive issues to ensure the safety and functionality of vehicles. Responsibilities: - Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in vehicles. - Perform automotive repairs including but not limited to engine repairs, brake system maintenance, and electrical system troubleshooting. - Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble, disassemble, and maintain vehicle components. - Follow manufacturer guidelines and specifications for repairs and maintenance tasks. - Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and ensure vehicles are operating efficiently. - Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and services provided. - Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns, explaining repair procedures, and answering questions. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or in a related field is preferred. - Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in automotive repair. - Familiarity with automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components. - Ability to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools effectively. - Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. - Strong communication skills to interact with customers and collaborate with team members effectively. Note: This job description outlines primary responsibilities and qualifications expected of the Automotive Technician role. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to meet the operational needs of the organization.
