Are you a skilled and experienced Transport Trailer Technician looking for a rewarding career with a reputable heavy-duty repair shop? Look no further! Parts for Trucks is seeking skilled and experienced Transport Trailer Technicians to join our team in Calgary. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of transport trailers to ensure they meet all safety and operation standards.
*Responsibilities:*
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections on transport trailers.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in trailers.
* Conduct brake, suspension, and wheel alignments.
* Repair and replace trailer components such as axles, bearings, and lights.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient service.
* Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in truck & transport technology.
*Requirements:*
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Licensed or Apprentice Transport Trailer Technician.
* Proven experience as a Transport Trailer Technician an asset.
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Good manual dexterity and able to perform intermittent heavy lifting.
* Valid Driver?s License and acceptable driver?s abstract.
