The top priorities of this position will be to learn and understand the design and manufacture of kitchen cabinet. This includes manufacturing and assembly processes, creating drawings, and designing parts and assemblies. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work closely and effectively with other departments and possess excellent verbal and written English skills. Due to the nature of this fast-paced position, a people-oriented person that is dedicated to accuracy would be best suited. Performance will be measured by productivity, decision making, completion of objectives and on time release of project information. Opportunities for advancement and growth could be to supervisor of manufacturing engineering, design engineering or product specialist. Desired Knowledge/Skills: · Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office · Ability to read and understand design drawings · Collaborative and professional work ethic · Ability to problem solve while under pressure, within a fast paced environment · Ability to take direction and collaborate with team members · Strong communication and interpersonal skills · Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills · Highly organized and self-motivated. · Able to work independently and as a part of team.
