Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Willing to relocate. Tasks: Address customers' complaints or concerns. Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. DZ class license. Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Bill of lading. Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Maintenance and repair reports. Trans-border documentation. Trip reports. Type of trucking and equipment: Logging, highway. Communication systems experience: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Trip recorder (on-board computer). Transportation/travel experience: Long-haul. Provincial/territorial. Security and safety: Valid passport. Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel cross-border. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Sitting.
