Overview
PortfolioAid is looking for a skilled Data Management Specialist to join our client and product onboarding team to deploy its suite of RegTech and WealthTech software solutions.

This role reports to the Director of Product & Onboarding Services.
Principal duties of the job
Collaborating closely with the onboarding team, this role will perform data integration activities to ensure a successful client onboarding experience.
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with back-office vendors to ensure smooth data extraction processes and resolve any issues that may arise.
· Oversee and manage the process to extract data from the back-office systems efficiently and accurately.
· Collaborate with the onboarding team, clients and back-office vendors to establish data connections and implement data transfer mechanisms.
· Perform data transformation to convert back-office data into a compatible format for the PortfolioAid?s applications.
· Implement data mapping and data normalization processes to ensure consistency and accuracy in data representation.
· Conduct thorough data checks and validation to ensure the quality and integrity of the extracted data.
· Identify and rectify any data anomalies, discrepancies, or inconsistencies to maintain data accuracy.
· Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing any data questions or issues that arise during the onboarding and warranty phase.
Essential Qualifications
· Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
· Proficient in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and transformation. Experience with relational databases such as Oracle.
· Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
· Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices.
· Proficiency in programming/scripting languages for data processing and automation tasks.
· Experience in performing data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams, clients, and external vendors.
· High attention to detail to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bilingual (French and English)
· Wealth compliance industry background
· Experience working with back-office systems (IBM ISM (NBIN), Dataphile, Univeris, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
