Responsibilities
Tasks

Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas

Develop and guide the behaviour of farm animals

Diagnose livestock health issues

Handling animals

Marking livestock as proof of ownership

Monitor the calving process

Perform animal grooming activities

Perform livestock feeding
-
Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving

Track and report on current feed inventory

Treat livestock health issues

Feed and tend animals

Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment

Formulate feeding program

Select livestock for sale

Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs
