*HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR - CALEDON (ALTON), ON*
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness of the buildings, rooms, cabins, order, and sanitation in various public areas within a facility, such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other shared spaces. This role is crucial in creating a positive and welcoming environment for residents, guests, or visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
? Oversees all areas of housekeeping including public spaces & daily services of property accommodations and ensure departmental productivity objectives and service quality standards.
? Establishes and maintains cost-control system for linen and cleaning supplies inventories.
? Oversees budgeting, ordering and receiving of supplies.
? Inspects and manages the quality of housekeeping services within set timelines.
? Schedules staff according to productivity standards and forecasted occupancy.
? Complies and reports information on housekeeping activities and expenses.
? Provides training and career development for all housekeeping employees.
? Conduct performance evaluations and provides feedback for employees.
? Provides input to the department?s annual budget, monitors and reports variances against plan, and keeps track of labor costs.
? Complies with company policies and procedures for security and emergency procedures.
What you bring:
? Minimum 1 year of experience working in a 3 + star hotel as a Housekeeping Supervisor.
? Previous supervisory experience including scheduling, training, development, performance appraisals and administering disciplinary actions.
? Superior people management skills, customer service, conflict resolution skills and dedication to customer satisfaction.
? Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
? Committed to results through flexible scheduling, consistent follow-up and leadership by example.
? Highly productive, energetic, attentive to detail and a positive attitude.
