*Canadian Choice Windows and Doors company is seeking for Billing Coordinator *
Position Overview:
The Billing Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions within a company. This multifaceted role involves calculating sales commissions, preparing invoices for installers, scrutinizing supplier invoices for discrepancies, and meticulously entering all accounting details into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Additionally, the Coordinator is responsible for reporting any inconsistencies to the general manager, contributing to the overall financial integrity of the organization.
*Proficiency in Excel and attention to details is a must.*
Job Type: Full-time, office position
Salary: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
*Key Responsibilities:*
Sales Commissions Calculation:
* Accurately calculate sales commissions based on predefined commission structures and sales performance metrics.
* Collaborate with the sales team to gather necessary data and resolve any commission-related queries.
Invoicing for Installers:
* Prepare and generate invoices for installers based on completed projects or delivered services.
* Ensure by email or call that all invoicing details align with contractual agreements and project specifications
Supplier Invoice Validation:
* Thoroughly check supplier invoices for potential double payments or discrepancies.
* Coordinate with the procurement department to verify the accuracy of goods received and services rendered.
Data Entry into CRM System:
* Enter all relevant accounting details, including sales commissions, installer invoices, and supplier invoice information, into the CRM system.
* Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency in data entry to facilitate reliable financial reporting.
Record Keeping:
* Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, invoices, and commission calculations for auditing purposes.
* Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Communication and Reporting:
* Report any inconsistencies or discrepancies in financial data to the manager promptly.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve financial processes.
*Qualifications and Skills:*
* Educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the service-oriented industry.
* Strong analytical abilities to identify and rectify discrepancies in financial data.
* Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in commission calculations and financial transactions.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with sales teams, installers, suppliers, and management effectively.
* Proficiency in using tools like Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
* Ability to identify and resolve issues independently, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
* Capability to adapt to evolving business needs and process improvements.
