New Professional Support may receive up to a maximum of seven steps for relevant occupational experience which is $73,959.99 annually.ResponsibilitiesWhat you will be doing…Reporting to the Manager of Operations, Foundation & Alumni Relations, you will:Coordinate the stewardship of the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency Growing Nova Scotia's Skilled Trades Initiative.Coordinate various aspects of project work, financial and non-financial reporting, and ensuring commitments related to joint initiatives between the NSCC Foundation & Alumni Relations, collaborating partners and the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency are met.Be responsible for leading the project working groups inclusive of Manager/Directors from other NSCC departments, to ensure all requirements of agreements are met and all information required for activity and financial reporting are received.This position relies on good working knowledge of project management techniques, financial reporting and budgeting, and professional skills in support of the projects and program.QualificationsQualifications and Occupational Experience:The minimum educational qualification for this position is a post-secondary certificate or diploma in a related field combined with progressive experience in a project coordinator or project management role; specifically tracking deliverables, reporting, and documentationMinimum 5 years of progressive project coordination or project management experience, specifically tracking deliverables, reporting, and documentationOccupational experience in the following would be considered an asset:Demonstrated experience navigating a large organization and developing strong internal relationshipsExperience working with a Finance department in the development of reports and budgetsExperience working with CRM or financial management systems such as Raiser's Edge or Financial Edge would be considered an assetExperience with Labour Market Programs Support System (LaMPSS)Certificate in Project Management would be considered an assetYou are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite and E-mailYou are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology; and you are committed to using technology in advancing your work.Relevant Skills and Knowledge:You demonstrate a commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility, and anti-racism.You possess excellent interpersonal skills and are able to interact at all levels of an organization.You are known for your superior customer service skills and are able to create a relationship of trust beyond the immediate interaction.Your superb team working skills enable you to contribute positively to a team environment.You are known for your problem solving and critical thinking skills.You have a proven records and information management skills and abilities.Experience with donor and/or gift stewardship would be considered an asset.Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong sense of diplomacy and demonstrated ability to build strong, collaborative relationships within and across departments.Ability to work independently, rise to new challenges, find creative solutions, and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment. .Ability to adapt to changing environments and timelinesAbility to work independently.Attention to detail and commitment to accuracyYou demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence.You are dedicated to life-long learning and continue to monitor industry trends and upskillingOther InformationAs a c
