We are looking for an experienced Bar Manager, responsible for coordinating, supervising and directing all aspects of Barrique & Java. By morning, it?s a cheerful venue to enjoy a coffee and house-made pastry. By evening, it becomes a cozy locale to gather for conversation over a glass of wine and light farm-to-table fare.

*Duties for this position will include, but are not limited to:*
* Train and supervise bar staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.
* Setup bar with necessary ingredients before service begins.
* Pour wine and beer.
* Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other beverages.
* Coordinate service to ensure a smooth and efficient flow while maintaining a high level of guest service.
* Adhere to and assist in the development of recipes.
* Maintain knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits on the menu in order to answer questions and provide excellent service.
* Setup and takedown bar at banquets and functions with all necessary supplies.
* Provide bar service at banquets and functions.
* Stop serving guests alcohol after it is determined they have consumed too much.
* Liaise with customers and Events team regarding special functions.
* Ensure that back of house areas are clean and organized at all times.
* Ensure that inventory is accurately entered, counted regularly and discrepancies are promptly investigated and reported.
* Maintain high standards of morale and personal appearance of all staff.
* Ensure fair and equitable discipline, in compliance with regulations.
* Ensure regular reviews of all required stock and operating equipment at specified intervals.
* Work very closely with the Restaurant Managers to ensure the teams are functioning effectively and cohesively.
*Qualifications:*
* Minimum 3 years bartending experience.
* Current Serving It Right Certificate.
* Minimum 2 years management experience.
* Strong knowledge of standard wines, beers, and drink recipes.
* Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and work ethic.
* Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
