Working within Global Risk Management (GRM), the Senior Manager, Product Owner contributes to the overall success of Global Operational Risk (GOR) by ensuring technology solutions, process and digital enhancements, and change management strategies are successfully delivered in assist of the team's business strategies and objectives. This role ensures that all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. Job Responsibilities: As a Product Owner (PO) leads the design, development and delivery of Operational Risk technology solutions that meet business objectives. Gather and refine specifications and requirements received from GOR Pillar Leads, aligned with the Operational Risk Management Framework and Program Methodologies. Performs any necessary data mapping and documents information flows to assist specific business requirements. Reconcile with IT&S to execute testing plans and overall release management plans. Oversee IT deliverables, formalizing that the requirements are achieved per user expectations. Actively participates in enterprise PO forums to collaborate planning and prioritization activities to enable technology changes. Leads the development and implementation of change management strategies to maximize user adoption while minimizing barriers with GOR systems. Design and manage administrative documentation and procedures for user access and application assist. Ensure internal assist processes are understood, documented, confirmed, updated and informed to key stakeholders. Manage communication with business partners and effectively socialize with the technology groups as well as users throughout the Bank. Plan, develop, organize, and reconcile delivery of system training and knowledge transfer to user communities. Develop and manage improvements that will increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes. Develop and manage key performance indicators for the timeliness and effectiveness of system enhancements. Identifies and implements continuous process improvements and digital design enhancements to improve user experience and ensure effective end-to-end customer processes. Recommend improvements to existing processes to assist data analytics, including data collection in Source systems Champions a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Comprehends how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook, and the Guidelines for Business Conduct. Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment and using a coaching mindset and behaviours; informing vision/values/business strategy; and managing succession and development planning for the team. Job Requirements: Receives direction from the Director while following Bank policies and procedures, addressing routine GOR system service-related matters independently, keeping management informed, and escalating problems in a timely manner.
