Program Analyst ¿ Open Competition DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TEMPORARY OPPORTUNITY (1 YEAR) FREDERICTONThe Department of Health has an opening for a Program Analyst within the Medicare and Physician Services Branch in Fredericton, reporting to the Manager of Fee for Service.*Revised*As the Program Analyst, you will:Support the Fee-for-Service Negotiations/Distributions; Provide operational support for the Insured Services Appeals Committee; Participate in Fee-for-Service Specialty Fee reviews; Analyze trends and conduct policy and physician remuneration research; Develop recommendations to improve and enhance services and programs; Support strategic and operational decision-making and program/service planning; Lead, participates in, or supports special projects and initiatives related to physician compensation policies, programs, and processes; Participate in Federal/Provincial/Territorial committees and working groups. You are recognized for your organization skills and ability to prioritize deliverables. You have exceptional writing skills and are adept at producing concise, clear and well-organized documents, including policies and procedures, instruction manuals and training guides.Essential Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline, public administration, business administration, or a related field and a minimum of four (4) years of related experience. OR A two (2) year college diploma in business administration, a health-related discipline, or a related field and a minimum of six (6) years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Written and spoken competence in English and French is required.
