Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Determine the size of food portions and costs. Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization. Requisition food and kitchen supplies. Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances. Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food. Supervise kitchen staff and helpers. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. Clean kitchen and work areas. Manage kitchen operations. Inspect kitchen and food service areas. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Standing for extended periods. Work under pressure. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years. Support for persons with disabilities: Provides physical accessibility accommodations (for example: ramps, elevators, etc.).
