An ideal candidate will have previous customer service, or preferably previous pharmacy experience. Not only will you have the opportunity to grow your patient care skills but you will be recognized and rewarded for your efforts with upward mobility within the company. *Job Description* Practice to full scope in providing professional services and consultation to both customers and health care providers. *Key responsibilities include:* Dispensing Medications: Ensuring the accurate and safe dispensing of prescription medications, including checking for drug interactions and contraindications. Patient Consultation: Providing patients with counseling on medication usage, side effects, drug interactions, and contraindications. Clinical Services: Providing clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management, minor ailment consultations and vaccinations. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with provincial and federal laws and regulations, including the Ontario Drug Benefit (ODB) program and the Narcotics Safety and Awareness Act. Inventory Management: Managing the pharmacy's inventory of medications and supplies, including ordering and receiving new products, and maintaining accurate records. Team Management: Supervising pharmacy technicians and support staff, including training and evaluating their performance. Collaborative Practice: Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to optimize patient care. Health Promotion: Promoting health and wellness in the community through education, awareness, and prevention initiatives. *Key Requirements:* * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. * A friendly and approachable attitude towards patients and team members. * Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. * A willingness to learn and grow with the company. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. * Professional and reliable work ethic.
