*BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR*
*A 71-year-old Manufacture of Fluid Delivery Assemblies and Components for, the Aerospace; Power Generation; Oil & Gas; Nuclear; Medical; Electric and Specialty Vehicle Industries is looking for a ?qualified? **Business Development Director**. *
*The company is looking to **continue its expansion* *(post Covid) of its core capabilities (metal forming, high precision welding, swaging and machining) while introducing our new ?Wet Center? services and finishing capabilities to our current and new clients. This includes complete chemical processing; cleaning; priming and final painting/finishing for metal components and assemblies and testing and fabrication of ?critical? components.*
*This person will be a ?Champion? the Company?s growth plan and will be responsible for the management of the business relationship with our current and new clients. Experience and enthusiasm will be critical to the success of this candidate with the ability to ?Listen and Understand? (read ? LEARN) our client?s needs and expectations for these new services an important characteristic. *
*The position requires focus, drive and determination to grow the business by achievement of objectives and targeted results. *
*This position is ideal for either a veteran business manager or for a new energetic person looking to grow into the role and with the company.*
*This position reports directly to the President of the Company and will be headquartered in Toronto.*
*QUALIFICATIONS \\ SKILLSET*
- Experience with Aerospace specifications & programs is important.
- Familiarity with Chemical Processing, Painting and Finishing processes involved in metal component and assembly fabrication is helpful.
- Able to interact with the various internal departments: Finance, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Production, and Procurement and to continue relationship with external Trade and Industry Associations.
*POSITION SUMMARY*
This is a summary of the overall function and purpose of the position.
· Responsible for New Business Development
· Responsible for Company?s Current Customer Growth Management
· Contract and LTA negotiation and management.
· Operates with a high degree of independence and is responsible for the ?Business? Objectives and Revenue Targets of the Company.
· Liaising with Finance and other departments to develop Company?s Growth Strategies
· Liaising with Engineering and Procurement departments to manage response to client RFQ?s and inquiries.
* Assist in scheduling & delivery to ensure completion is in accordance with the Customer deadline(s), OTD (On Time Delivery)
*KEY ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITIES *
· Aerospace
o Bombardier; Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Canada; Textron, Cessna; Heroux Devtek
· Power Generation Clients
· Specialty Electric Vehicles Clients
· Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Clients
· Military & Defense Clients
*Duties and Responsibilities may be amended from time to time.*
*Compensation to be based on Fixed Annual Salary + Commission. *
· *Fixed Annual Salary Ranges from $100,000 to $120,000*
· *Variable Commission Annual Total could range between $50,000 and $75,000.*
