*DUTIES:*
* Assisting with the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of both commercial and residential, plumbing and HVAC systems.
* Cleaning and replacing filters belts and mechanical equipment.
* Performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs for various HVAC systems.
* Driving, maintenance and cleaning, power vacuuming of furnace systems, and interfacing with customers.
* Performing light plumbing tasks.
* Assisting the service teams with various tasks
*SKILLS and ABILITIES:*
HVAC helpers need a combination of technical and soft skills to perform their duties effectively. Here are some key skills that are beneficial for HVAC helpers:
* *Effective Communication*: Clearly explaining HVAC systems to customers and working well with colleagues.
* *Technical Skills*: Proficiency in using hand tools, ladders, and air ducts for installation and maintenance.
* *Knowledge of Plumbing and Brazing*: Familiarity with plumbing systems and the ability to join metal parts using brazing techniques.
* *Preventative Maintenance*: Conducting routine checks and maintenance to prevent system failures.
* *Problem-Solving*: Troubleshooting issues with electrical circuits and components.
* *Physical Strength and Manual Dexterity*: Handling heavy equipment and performing tasks that require fine motor skills.
* *Basic Math and Communication Skills*: Performing calculations and effectively communicating with team members and clients.
* *Flexibility*: Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
* *Valid Driver?s License*
*JOB REQUIREMENTS:*
* Steel toed footwear
* Valid Class 5 Drivers License.

* *The candidate MUST be available to be part of the on-call rota. When on call they will be required to attend to be available on a 24-7 basis for one week in every three. *
