Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Supervise and direct activities of other medical technologists or technicians. Apply and adjust casts, splints and bandages. Clean and maintain equipment. Help with scheduling and workflow. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices. Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation. Maintain supplies. Advise patients on care and use of ocular prostheses. Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments. Order supplies and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Schedule and confirm appointments. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
