Radisson Hotel & Conference Center is looking for a full time Guest Services Manager to join our team!
Your focus will be on providing efficient service and creating memorable experiences by making emotional connections with all of our guests. This role and your contribution is a key component in the success of our hotel?s entire management team. Your leadership and positive nature will help you to successfully lead the staff of your department, as well help provide an amazing overall experience for all of our hotel guests from the moment they arrive, right until the moment they check out!
*Main duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:*
* Supervise/manage the operation of the Front Office (includes Front Desk/Night Audit).
* Ensuring the highest level of personalized guest services and optimized guest satisfaction.
* Day to Day supervision and smooth operation of the Front Office.
* Flexible with days and hours of work; shifts could potentially be any day or time of the week.
* Demonstrate good organizational skills in a busy environment.
* Daily preparation and organization of all reservations.
* Able to assist with procedures required of an Emergency Response Plan (i.e. fire).
* Ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.
* Ability to effectively handle/resolve guest issues (in person/ phone/ email/ online).
* Work closely with all departments to ensure timely/smooth management of all operations.
* Duty to either provide training or ensure adequate training is arranged for department staff.
* Active support in attaining GSI scores as prescribed by the goals of hotel management.
* Responsible for short/long term planning and the management of the Front Office operations.
* Ensure effective management of the Guest Services Agents through payroll, training, and development adhering to budget parameters.
* Effectively communicate and implement new policies/procedures for the Front Office.
* Assist in planning and execution of departmental meetings.
* Provide guidance and motivation for department staff regarding basic yield management and selling principles, to maximize Revenue per available room and achieve/exceed budget.
* As required, provide Central Reservations updates on property facilities and special promotions, and fully utilize availability markers and other yield management tools to maximize revenue.
* Establish a record of regular guests and special requirements in order.
* Working to meet our highest of expectations for guest satisfaction, supported by the training and resources available to your department, delivering ?Yes I Can? service and teamwork.

* Professional approach and appearance, a welcoming smile, and a great communicator.
* Works well in a team environment, comfortable taking ownership and resolving challenges.
* Able to assess situations quickly and carefully, is sensitive when dealing with clients/guests.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and lead people who backgrounds are of a diverse social and ethnic and backgrounds, and varying capabilities.
* Strengths must include high energy, entrepreneurial, motivational, effective communicator, exceptional customer service, very organized, and desire for continuous improvement.
* Confident and proficient with use of a computer, and Microsoft Email and Word and Excel.
* Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills, fully fluent speaking English, speaking other languages is an asset.
* Experience: 2 or more years of management or supervisory experience.
