Teaching Certificate; <p> university<p>training, or its equivalent, relevant to the posted position; and, <p> successful<p>teaching experience relevant to the posted position. Term, September 3, 2024 to<p>June 27, 2025 <p> HOWE SOUND SECONDARY SCHOOL The successful candidate<p>must: possess a Diploma in Education Teacher Librarianship;<p> have completed specific course work in inquiry-based learning,<p>collaborate planning and teaching, information literacy, curriculum design and<p>implementation, multi-media resources, and learning technologies;<p> have successful experience as a Teacher Librarian or Learning Commons<p>Teacher;<p> be prepared to assume a literacy leadership role in collection<p>development and management, promoting reading and supporting a schools<p>literacy strategies;<p> have training/experience in the use of Quality Assessment practices;<p>and,<p> have experience in differentiating and providing inclusive learning<p>opportunities that reflect the unique needs of students;<p> be familiar with the BC Student Performance Standards and new BC<p>Curriculum and Competencies; and,<p> have experience working in multi-age/grade groupings. <p>PLEASE NOTE: WHEN<p>APPLYING FOR THIS POSITION, TRANSCRIPTS FOR ALL RELATED COURSEWORK WILL BE<p>REQUIRED.
