Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications. Prepare contracts and tenders. Prepare standards and schedules. Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants. Supervise, monitor and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects. Test machines and equipment. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. SolidWorks software. Welding techniques: Robotic equipment and systems. Area of specialization: Machinery and components. Moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures. Aerospace. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel regularly.
