Employer Job Number: GO-00749283-1 Facility: St. Paul's Hospital Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the Emergency Department..Required Qualifications Bachelor Degree/Diploma in NursingBasic Life Support (BLS)Pediatric advanced life support (PALS) is preferredRegistered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)Trauma nursing core course (TNCC) is preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Clinical competence in Acute Care and Emergency/Outpatient ServicesOther Information NOTE: This is a Provincial Posting and is open to all SUN members within the bargaining unit as per Articles 27.02 and 27.05 of the SUN Collective Bargaining Agreement. First preference will be given to employees of the SKHA (Saskatoon) and its affiliated agencies. The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A vulnerable sector check (VSC) is required for individuals providing patient/resident/client care to vulnerable persons.
