Now our incredible brand is coming to Canada! As a founding member of the Canadian team, you will introduce Canadians to Shake Shack?s legendary burgers, shakes, custards and fries. As we experience tremendous growth, you will be the driving force to our success in Canada and beyond! To ensure you know everything you need to be successful, you will get to participate in a custom training program in the US with the rest of your team.
We are seeking a *Manager *who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to bring Shake Shack to Canada. You are an important member of the restaurant team who manages daily operations to deliver an exceptional guest experience and high-quality food while maintaining our standards and procedures.
*What you?ll do:*
* Supervise day-to-day operations to maintain high levels of quality control, hygiene, health and safety while upholding Shake Shack brand standards, including food quality, hospitality and restaurant cleanliness.
* Manage the team to execute strategic action plans to achieve sales, profitability and guest experience KPIs.
* Communicate shift goals and positioning assignments to the team to optimize productivity and throughput.
* Actively manage shifts to respond to changing business and traffic needs.
* Coach and hold team members accountable for upholding Shake Shack standards while maintaining a positive work environment.
* Use online systems to maintain shift reporting, keep logs, track inventory and optimize production.
* Lead by example by fulfilling all Shake Shack operational standards
*What you will need:*
* Minimum 1 year of management experience in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.
* Proven history of carrying out action plans to achieve restaurant KPIs including sales, profitability, and guest experience.
* Understanding of restaurant systems including Learning Management, Ops Management and Inventory systems.
* Understanding key line items of the P&L and how each shift impacts them.
* Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of the Shack operations.
* Ability to drive hospitality and inspire others.
* Ability to travel to the US for 8 weeks for training.
