*Overview*
A Production Planner manages the scheduling and timeliness of the production process to ensure the company meets all deadlines. Their duties include managing material and equipment availability, scheduling production and monitoring the production process for problems.
Job Duties
- Planning, scheduling and coordinating the production of the company?s products
- Evaluating raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production
- Scheduling shifts and workers to provide proper coverage
- Watching costs to ensure the production process stays within budget
- Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management
- Handling production disruptions and productivity problems
- Finding ways to improve productivity and reduce costs
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Using market forecasts and competitive analysis to anticipate necessary
*Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an applicable discipline of Management.
- Excellent communication skills and a familiarity with electronic presentation/report formats (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent time management and project organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability for critical and strategic thinking.
- Able to communicate fluently in both English and Mandarin.
- Works well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing tools and equipment
- Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to create and adhere to production processes
- Ability to write reports legibly and accurately
- Familiarity with the regulatory requirements for manufacturing/packaging of pharmaceutical or nutraceutical manufacturing would be considered an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 per year
