As such, our Drawing team is looking for a Drawing Technician to support the growth of our engineering projects.</p><p><strong>Drawing Technician (AutoCad Plant 3D) ? Montreal, Du Collège metro.</strong></p><p><strong>Role:</strong></p><p>You will be an integral part of a young and dynamic company and will work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams on varied projects.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare, from sketches and other data, drawings and diagrams for engineering projects, including:<ul><li>Process and piping plans (PFD);</li><li>Instrumentation and control diagrams (P&ID);</li><li>3D modeling of equipment, piping, components;</li></ul></li><li>Prepare layout plans for the installation of new equipment, 2D/3D;</li><li>Draw project elements and manufacturing drawings with accuracy and precision using AutoCAD software;</li><li>Participate in meetings, in order to coordinate equipment and piping during modeling;</li><li>Apply the company?s design and quality standards;</li><li>Take measurements at construction sites;</li></ul><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Opportunities for rapid development;</li><li>A hybrid working mode, at least 1 day per week in the office;</li><li>An environment that promotes accountability and professional growth;</li><li>Competitive salary and benefits;</li><li>3 weeks of vacation upon hire;</li><li>5 days of additional personal leave</li><li>RRSP group insurance plan with employer contribution of 4%</li><li>Reimbursement of public transport costs.</li><li>Gym and yoga room on site;</li><li>Electric vehicle charging stations;</li><li>A stimulating and non-conformist work environment that leaves room for life balance and encourages daily efficiency.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Proficiency in software<span> </span><strong>AutoCAD Plant 3D</strong><span> </span>and<span> </span><strong>AutoCAD</strong>;</li></ul><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in engineering drawing;</li><li>Diploma of professional studies in technical, industrial or building design, or any other training deemed equivalent;</li><li>Aptitude in design for building or process mechanics (an asset);</li><li>Experience in consulting engineering (an asset);</li></ul><p><strong>Qualities sought:</strong></p><ul><li>Communication ability;</li></ul><ul><li>Sense of organization and rigor;</li><li>Ability to work well with other engineering disciplines, the client and manufacturers.</li><li>Sense of initiative, attention to detail;</li><li>Ability to work in a team;</li></ul>
