The Position The Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission is seeking an organized and reliable professional administrative assistant for the Commission. This is a full time position of 35 hours per week. You will provide high quality and efficient administrative support to the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission including directing telephone inquiries, purchasing, organizing and managing supplies; and providing filing and archiving support for office records. Such duties will be performed while maintaining strict confidentiality. The PersonThe successful candidate will be energetic, highly organized and confident with superior teamwork and communication skills. Typically, the knowledge and abilities required for this position will be attained from a business school diploma combined with experience working in a legal environment. The candidate of choice will have experience with office organizational principles and systems and have advanced computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office. Data entry with accuracy and attention to detail are essential for this position. Your excellent communication skills will allow you to listen, accurately comprehend and orally respond to inquiries from the public, other agencies, staff, and ministries. You will be able to organize and prioritize a high volume of projects, consistently produce high quality work, and develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, clients and stakeholders.
