Tasks

  • Advise in the interpretation and delivery of the performance
  • Arrange film segments into sequences to achieve continuity and desired effects
  • Determine scheduling of production
  • Edit motion picture film based on the director’s vision
  • Ensure details follow the project’s original intention
  • Monitor the project’s success after release
  • Plan, organize and direct the artistic aspects of production
  • Determine lighting, lenses, camera angles and backgrounds
