Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Agricultural equipment. General manufacturing. Oil and gas industry. Tasks: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables. Repair machine tools and parts. Set up and adjust production machineries/tools. Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance. Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments. Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools. Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Apprenticeship training: Pre-apprenticeship training. Level one apprenticeship training. Measuring tools: Micrometers. Callipers. Verniers. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Criminal record check. Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Public transportation is not available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks.
