The incumbent will also arrange for the collection of past due receivables of his assigned portfolio of customers and as appropriate will negotiate for a payment schedule preferable to the retention of the account.</span></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span>Your role</span></p> <ul> <li><span>Ensure that the Company Credit Policy and Procedures are respected and followed </span></li> <li><span>Approve credit applications within Company guidelines</span></li> <li><span>Re-evaluate the accounts credit limit as needed </span></li> <li><span>Put on credit hold any delinquent accounts when necessary</span></li> <li><span>Perform collection of past due receivables for assigned accounts </span></li> <li><span>Negotiate payment arrangements and follow up with customer. </span></li> <li><span>Work with Sales representatives and Store Managers when collection assistance is required</span></li> <li><span>Consult with immediate supervisor for situations such as bankruptcy, application of liens and legal action. </span></li> <li><span>Work as part of a team with other Credit Administrators and participate in various related projects.</span></li> <li><span>Performs other duties as assigned.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span>The qualifications we are looking for</span></p> <ul> <li><span>College diploma in administration or in a related field</span></li> <li><span>A minimum 2-4 years experience in Credit and Collections</span></li> <li><span>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</span></li> <li><span>Solid judgement and strong analytical skills to make sound decisions</span></li> <li><span>Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and is team oriented</span></li> <li><span>Excellent skills with the Microsoft
