*Job Summary*
Innivec is looking for a Proposal Writer who will be responsible for developing, writing, and editing proposals and other documents to support the business development and sales efforts of the company. This role requires a combination of technical writing skills, strategic thinking, and attention to detail to create compelling and persuasive proposals that align with the company?s objectives and client requirements.
*Duties and Responsibilities*
*Proposal Development:*
* Research, write, and build proposals for special projects.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of content.
* Develop and maintain proposal templates and ensure consistency in style, format, and tone.
*Content Management:*
* Maintain a database of proposal content and templates.
* Regularly update and improve proposal content to reflect the latest information, best practices, and company capabilities.
*Collaboration and Communication:*
* Work closely with the business development, sales, and marketing teams to understand the client?s needs and tailor proposals accordingly.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of proposals and related documents.
* Present and review proposal drafts with internal stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
*Quality Assurance:*
* Ensure all proposals meet the company?s standards for quality, accuracy, and professionalism.
* Proofread and edit documents for clarity, grammar, and compliance with RFP requirements.
*Market and Industry Research:*
* Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and client needs to inform proposal content and strategy.
* Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and incorporate them into proposal processes.
*Process Improvement:*
* Identify and implement improvements to the proposal development process.
* Develop and maintain proposal development guidelines and best practices.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor?s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
* Experience in government related proposals.
* Proven experience as a proposal writer or similar role, preferably in a related industry.
* Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Excellent research and analytical skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
* Knowledge of the specific industry or market the company operates in.
* Certification in proposal management (e.g., APMP) is an advantage.
