PAL Aerospace is partnered with SkyAlyne who has been named by Canada as the preferred bidder for the Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) Program, which is our next generation pilot and aircrew training program for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). The scope of the FAcT Program includes all training and in-service support requirements needed to prepare Pilots, Air Combat Systems Officers (ACSO), and Airborne Electronic Sensor Operators (AES Op) to meet the future aerospace requirements of the RCAF. In collaboration with the Government of Canada, SkyAlyne and several of its major Canadian subcontractors will provide live-flying, simulator and classroom-based training, facilities construction and management, information management and information technology support, site support services, aircraft maintenance and much more. https://skyalyne.ca/future-aircrew-training-canada/ This Program will be a 20+ year contract and will be managed from the National Capital Region (Ottawa), with one of its main operational locations in Winnipeg, MB. PAL Aerospace is searching for an experienced Quality Manager to join our team in Winnipeg, MB. The Quality Manager will be responsible to support all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental aspects of PAL Aerospace's scope of work for the FAcT Program. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain the ISO 9001 , AS9100 , AS9110 and any other certifications required for the PAL Aerospace FAcT program . Develop, review and revise the Quality Management Plan ( Q MP) as well as t ake all necessary actions to ensure effective operation and continual improvement. Responsible for development and implementation of all Quality related procedures and inspections for FAcT . Establish an independent audit program and e nsure that all quality audits are conducted in a timely manner and follow the project audit schedule. Schedule and coordinate external quality audits of key s uppliers identified in the QMP. Liaise with Head of Quality on au dit results, Accreditation progress, and an y potential changes to the QMS to ensure alignment with Corporate QMS. Lead the management review process, c reate quality system reporting and coordinate activities with the Head of Quality . Act as the project representative on all matters relating to Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental matters for FAcT . Support the PAL SMS and HSE programs . Support the approval of airworthiness documentation for the FAcT program. Oversee all project related non-conformance and corrective action reports, inspections and audits ( internal and external) as required . Carry out all other responsibilities in accordance with project requirements and/or Good Industry Practice. Other duties as assigned . Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of experience in quality, with 5 years of experience in a management level role . Experience working on large, complex projects.
