Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Graphic design firm. Corporation. Printing shop. Tasks: Supervise other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians. Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations. Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials. Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication. Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives. Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements. Computer and technology knowledge: Adobe Illustrator. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
