Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems. Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems. Repair or replace mechanical units or components. Perform scheduled maintenance service. Complete reports to record problems and work performed. Install new measuring instruments. Maintain records and prepare reports on engine performance and failures. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification. Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement. Documentation knowledge: Maintenance and repair reports. Area of specialization: Welding. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Personal suitability: Accurate. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Reliability. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Are you willing to relocate for this position?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
