Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged. Tasks: Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort. Perform other duties related to personal care. Supply and empty bed pans. Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Serve meal trays and feed patients. Weigh, lift, turn and position patients. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms. Supervise patients' exercise routines. Bathe, dress and groom patients. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs). Personal suitability: Client focus. Patience. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Support for newcomers and refugees: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) . Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .- LocationBarrie, ON
