The Senior Business Analyst (Sr. BA) is the main liaison between the business stakeholders (AMO Operations), internal technology teams, and vendors (primarily CGI). The Sr. BA will be responsible for ensuring the business requirements, solution/vision is documented and developed to meet the needs of the stakeholders. This role manages and provides oversight of work within a project team, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed thoroughly, accurately and within assigned time frames. They will also provide support & guidance with testing requirements, implementations, and coordinate change management to a steady state. Is this role right for you? In this role you will: Collaborate with business stakeholders, internal technology teams and vendor to gather and document requirements for new business projects and system enhancements Provide oversight of daily issues, system releases, and support defect management Ensure requirements are clearly articulated and thoroughly documented Manage timely and accurate delivery of tasks for assigned projects through all stages of the project life cycle from concept to implementation. E.g., scope work effort, track task to a project plan, map process flows, document requirements, stories, liaise with Business, Development and Vendors, Test Validation/Defect mitigation, Communication plan execution, etc., ensuring the Senior Manager and/or Project Lead are kept informed of all unresolved issues, other areas of concern and any other deviations from plans through timely and well documented reporting Work with the UAT team as a liaison to assist with functional specs and defect items encountered Manage the annual tax project and any other projects as they arise, such as new Product initiatives. (e.g., fund change/launch/mergers) Work closely with development teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of systems and applications Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new enhancements or changes Create Business Cases including cost/benefit analysis to ensure quantitative and qualitative benefits are achieved Perform additional activities including data impact analysis and process analysis Execute project management tasks including the creation and monitoring of project plans and tasks to drive the delivery of the project to successful implementation Provide Operational Support to the AMO team as required Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment The Must Haves: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBPA) or other Business Analyst certification is an asset Minimum 5-7 years' experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a back-office environment Experience in documenting business processes, requirements, and system specifications Experience with back-office systems (e.g., Funds360) Good working knowledge of MS Project, MS Office, and MS Visio Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (/PSPO), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are all considered assetsDo you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? ?
