Our mission is to improve the wellbeing of Canadians.Job Title: Financial Systems Business Analyst Location: 644 Main St., Moncton, NB E1C 8L3 Compensation: $60,938- $71,779/ year (to be negotiated) Hours: 37.5 hours per week Employment Type: Full Time Permanent Vacancies: 1 Start Date: As soon as possible Working closely with the dedicated Finance IT support team (FSS) to provide support for the financial applications used by the finance business teams. This job is responsible for providing Tier One application support in the analysis and resolution of software and / or system issues for Finance end users, working with IT to manage upgrades and enhancements to existing Finance software and implementation of new software solutions specific to the Finance division for both Medavie Blue Cross and MHS companies.Responsibilities Managingsecurity and access to core financial applications - Dynamics GP, Kwik Tag products, ReQlogic, WebSeries, etc.Representing Finance end users through participation in corporate IT projects. This includes gathering requirements, participating in the selection or development of new enhancements and functionality for existing applications, development and execution of test scenarios for new solutions, and supporting finance business users through implementation process. Providing Tier One operational support for users of finance applications through management of the Financial Systems database.This includes research to understand core issues, working with IT support to determine underlying causes, testing of system fixes, supporting implementations of issue solutions to Production and guiding end users through resolution process.Supportingbusiness end users to manage inquiries concerning finance software applications functionality, training of finance users on new functionality and new software solutions, development of documentation for new software solutions as they relate to Medavie business processes.Participatingin the research, analysis and selection of new software solutions for Finance.MaintainingFinance software applications, ensuring we remain on current versions, upgrading regularly, participating in the design and implementation of new software solutions / new functionality within existing software to enhance Finance end user experience and facilitate completion of Finance activities.Requirements gathering and analysis with Finance business end users.Providingdetailed instructions to Finance end users to resolve issues with finance applications (documentation, verbal instruction, emailed instructions).Working closely with various IT teams including FSS and Security teams to manage financial applications.Representing Finance and providinginputs for corporate technology projects (eg - MAAX releases and enhancements).Working with external vendors in defining requirements and managing software implementations for Finance.Requirements Community college diploma.Minimum three years' related experience.Experience with use of multiple a
