The Town of Outlook is now accepting applications for the position for a Summer Worker in our Public Works department. This is a fulltime seasonal position responsible for the operation of general public works tasks in the spring and summer seasons. Duties and Responsibilities Assist in any general Public Works tasks, which may include crosswalk painting, tree trimming, waste pickup, mowing, and operation of equipment, landfill operations, maintenance of vehicles and equipment, maintenance of municipal facilities, and other tasks assigned by the Town Foreman. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, have the ability to work independently and have a willingness to learn new skills. The candidate must have a valid drivers license and a criminal record check is required. Starting wage is $16.50 per hour.The Town of Outlook is participating in the Canada Summer Jobs grant and to qualify for this grant, all works need to be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment, a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or a person of whom refugee protection has been conferred under and the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and is legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.- LocationOutlook, SK
